Organization
The FRCA's mission is to Support and Develop Amateur Cycling in the State of Florida on behalf of the United States Cycling Association.

Bylaws: The Bylaws were adopted in 2004 when the association was founded, and they are reviewed annually with the input of all members.
Board of Directors: The Board of Directors is nominated, elected, and appointed annually to plan,organize, and implement all that is suggested and needed to accomplish the association's mission.
Discussions & Motions: The Board of Directors discusses regularly various issues brought forward by any member, and submits Discussions & Motions as necessary to improve the various charters and programs of the FRCA.
Budget: The Budget is reviewed and approved annually by the Board of Directors, and the Treasurer maintains its accounting and reporting.

Racing
The FRCA supports and oversees the promotion of cycling events in Florida by providing an organized and balanced Racing Calendar and Points Ranking System known as the FPS - Florida Points Series.
Road Racing in Florida takes place from early February through the middle of October offering a variety of quality events and challenging competitions:

- 1 Series (Feb - Oct)
- 2 Seasons (Feb-May and Jun-Oct)

22 FPS weekend events
- 8 FloridaCup single day events
- 4 State Championship events
- Series Winners by Category
- Season Winners by Category
- State Champions by Category
- Champion of Champions by Category
Florida is know for the quality of its Racers, Courses, Promoters, Prizes & Awards, and unique welcoming spirit from all involved.
The FRCA partners with FloridaCycling.com to host and manage the FPS Calendar and Results, as well as to foster effective communication among riders, teams/clubs, promoters, officials, and everyone else involved.
