Brooksville Cycling Classic

The Brooksville Cycling Classic catches its stride.

Get Healthy of Brooksville is proud to bring back this amazing health fair and bicycle race to the city and showcase some of the best bicycle racing and racers in the southeast. The 2011 winner, Ivan Dominguez, put on a criterium racing exhibition on Saturday that was equaled by Pedro Medina of Advanced Cycles at Sunday’s Road Race. We expect a great turnout this year and hope you are there to enjoy it with us.

The Brooksville Classic is in its third year and touts itself as a women’s friendly event. With higher than average women’s prize lists and great prizes for primes and awards the promoter has taken extra effort to the women feel welcome and wanted.

The Ice Cream Hill Road Race is the Sunday joy of the weekend. This course is hard enough for the great climbers to put in a good dig but yet has enough flats to give the rest of the riders an honest shot. And the downhill just before the finish is a true treat in the rare case you get a field sprint.
