CHAMPIONSHIPS BY INDIVIDUAL:  We will use a “race drop” points system that allows riders to accumulate points in a smaller number of races.  This will expand the opportunity for more riders to stay in the hunt for the Series Championships by Category for the entire calendar.  We will count each rider’s top 15 results.  All race disciplines (CRIT, CIR, RR, TT & GC) will count the same and all races will be placed 25 places deep for points.  Please see the full point breakdown below.  This will allow racers to have bad days and select specific events they chose.  Please note the Ocala Stage Race will offer 4 Sets of points, the two Road Races, the Time Trial and the Overall General Classification will all count towards the series.

CHAMPIONSHIPS BY TEAM:  We will also keep track of the best teams in each category.  We will take the top 3 riders in each day of racing and total those points to achieve Team Champions by Category.  For this competition, we will only the total points of the team’s top three with no drop races unlike the individual rankings.

EVENT PRIZES & AWARDS:  We have increased the minimum requirement of cash prizes for every weekend.   This is possible due to the financial support of each event’s Promoter and Sponsors, and it rewards the quality of riders in Florida.  Please refer to each Event’s Flyers for details.

The Brooksville Cycling Classic returns for the forth year and promises to once again deliver an amazing set of late season racing. On Saturday, enjoy one of the only downtown health fairs and festivals in the state that coincide with a bike race. This "Get Healthy" Sponsored event attracts vendors from across the health food arena along with those from the health care arena. The days criterium racing is right inline with what you've come to expect from TopView Sports. Challenging courses and great production. The six corner course features a four block long semi climb along the brick streets of the Oak lined Brooksville Ave. A quick turn at the top on the hill puts you back in front of the finish line before plunging back to the bottom of the course. Truly this is one of the best courses in the state. We are honored to race on such great streets and you should want to be part of the action.

On Sunday at the Ice Cream Hill Road Race, riders are treated to a bit of the Florida hills. This course features the Pasco County famous Ice Cream hill which riders will encounter several times. But to keep it fair for the non-climbers the sprint finish comes at the end of a nice quick, straight descent for the last kilometer. Winners on this course have been pure sprinters and climbers so it really is anyone's race.

The proceeds from the event will be split between the Pediatric Cancer Foundation and our hosts for the Sunday Road Race the Neff Lake ARC facility.  This is the last and final tune up before the State Road Race which will be the following week in Clermont.
