FRCA - Florida Road Cycling Association

The FRCA - Florida Road Cycling Association was formed in 2004 as a 501(c)(3) Florida Not For Profit Corporation.

Our mission is to provide grass roots cycling and amateur cycling development in the State of Florida.

The FRCA accomplishes its mission by coordinating an organized and balanced race calendar. By creating an amateur points ranking system and supporting the promotion of cycling events and services that provide an avenue for the development of amateur racers and events. The FRCA provides a mechanism for the distribution of amateur cycling information throughout Florida that will foster effective communications between all racers, clubs and promoters. Please visit FloridaCycling.Com.

The FRCA provides Junior Cycling development grants, race promotion and race official training and certification. The FRCA will also award and administer the State Championship competitions.

Individual level membership is free to all USA Cycling licensed riders, and Team/Club level membership is available for an annual fee. Teams/Clubs that are approved for events under the FPS - Florida Points Series receive automatic Team/Club level membership in the FRCA.

The FRCA has special programs and services available for members only.

The FRCA's Board of Directors and Officers are nominated and elected by the members for a term of one year.

Elections are held at the FRCA's annual meeting held in November.
